Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using any part of the School of Mathematics Nigeria platform at learn.schoolofmathematicsng.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. These terms apply to all users, including students, instructors, and visitors.
About the platform
School of Mathematics Nigeria Ltd provides an online mathematics learning platform offering video lessons, practice assessments, and structured courses aligned to the Nigerian WAEC, NECO, and JAMB curriculum. We are a CAC-registered company in Nigeria, RC Number 7103883.
Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login details. You must not share your account with another person or allow others to access your account. You must provide accurate information when registering. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts where we believe information provided is false or where these terms have been violated.
Subscriptions and payments
Some courses on our platform require a paid subscription. Current pricing is displayed on the platform and may be updated from time to time. All payments are processed securely through Paystack or Flutterwave. Once a subscription is activated, access to the relevant course content begins immediately.
We do not offer refunds on digital content once access has been granted, except where required by applicable Nigerian consumer protection law. If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us within 7 days at somnigeria@gmail.com.
Free courses
We offer free courses as part of our commitment to accessible mathematics education. Free course content may change or be updated at any time. Access to free content does not create any contractual obligation on our part to maintain specific content permanently.
Intellectual property
All content on the School of Mathematics Nigeria platform, including video lessons, course materials, assessments, graphics, and text, is the intellectual property of School of Mathematics Nigeria Ltd unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from our content without our written permission. You are licensed to access and use the content for your own personal learning purposes only.
User conduct
By using our platform, you agree not to:
- Share your login credentials with others
- Attempt to access areas of the platform you are not authorised to access
- Upload or transmit any harmful, offensive, or unlawful content
- Use the platform for any commercial purpose without our written consent
- Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or replicate any part of our platform or content
- Engage in any conduct that disrupts or damages the platform or other users’ experience
Instructor terms
If you register as an instructor on our platform, you agree that all content you upload is original, does not infringe the intellectual property of any third party, and meets our content quality standards. You grant School of Mathematics Nigeria Ltd a non-exclusive licence to host and deliver your content to learners on the platform. Instructor revenue share arrangements are agreed separately in writing.
Scholarships and free access
School of Mathematics Nigeria Ltd offers scholarships and free access to selected learners, particularly girls from low-income and underserved communities. Scholarship access is granted at our discretion and does not create a permanent entitlement. We reserve the right to withdraw scholarship access where terms are violated.
Limitation of liability
School of Mathematics Nigeria Ltd provides the platform and content in good faith for educational purposes. We do not guarantee specific examination results or outcomes from using our platform. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the platform beyond what is required by applicable Nigerian law. We make reasonable efforts to ensure the platform is available at all times, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
Third-party links
Our platform may contain links to external websites, including social media platforms and payment processors. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of those external websites.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms. We will notify registered users of significant changes by email where possible.
Governing law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
